Ireland!

Location: Ireland is off the coast of Europe and its capital: Dublin is located 53 north and 6 west.



Climate: Their hottest month of the year is June their summer is the hottest times of the year. Their coldest month of the year is January. Their weather is mild, and is rains often. Really cold weather is not common and it just mostly just rains throughout the winter season.



Clothing: Lots of Irish clothing is made out of wool because there is lots of sheep. Irish traditional clothing is usually a kilt but not always. Women would wear lots of dresses (usually made from wool). Men is the warmer months would wear something called leine a tunic that goes down to your knees made from wool.



Food:Common Irish dishes include: Potatoes, bacon, cabbage, Irish stew, corn beef, soups and seafood. Irish food is usually very plain. In Ireland, Pubs are a place where people can gather and have alcohol and have food.



Government: The leader of Ireland is a prime minister. They have 2 separate branches of government. Judicial and Legislative.



Religion: Most people in the southern counties of Ireland follow the Roman Catholic Religion. In the northern counties, where there is more of an English influence the protestant religions are more popular.
