Government

In 1992, shortly after the Soviet Union seperated, Russia made a temporary government headed by Boris Yeltsin. Boris Yeltsin had been elected president of the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic (R.S.F.S.R.) in 1991. In December 1993, Russia adopted a new constitution that established a permanent government. After the seperation of the Soviet Union, Boris Yeltsin continued to serve as president of Russia until he resigned in 1999.

Food

Russia has a variety of foods. Some are awful, some are bad. Although, there might be a few that are decent. Here are a couple of main holiday dishes:



Badymzhan Dolmasy: A traditional Azerbaijan dish, A.K.A. stuffed eggplant.

Golubtsy: A main dish, very popular in russia. Looks like little tortilla wrapped tacos.

Caucasian Shashlyk: This russian food originates from the caucasus. This is an every picnic must.
